Market Trend Analysis Indicator – How to Use It and Its Benefits
The Market Trend Analysis Indicator shown in the chart is designed to make market direction easier to understand. It uses a colored trend area, Buy/Sell signals, and Peak Profit labels to help traders identify possible trend changes and potential entry or exit points.
In simple words, the indicator helps answer three important questions:
- Is the market going up or down?
- When could I enter a trade?
- When should I consider exiting?
1. Understanding the Green and Red Areas
The most important part of this indicator is the colored area around the price.
🟢 Green Area – Bullish Trend
When the indicator shows a green shaded area, it generally means the market is moving in an upward direction.
This suggests that buyers are stronger than sellers.
For example, in your chart, after the Buy signal around 06:30, the green area develops as price starts moving upward. The market then makes a strong upward movement.
A trader can use this condition to look for Buy opportunities.
🔴 Red Area – Bearish Trend
When the indicator shows a red shaded area, it generally indicates a downward trend.
This means sellers are becoming stronger.
For example, after the Sell signal around 08:00, the indicator changes into a red area and price moves downward.
A trader can use this condition to look for Sell opportunities.

2. How to Use the Buy Signal
The blue Buy label indicates a possible bullish entry.
A simple method is:
Buy signal + Green trend area = Look for Buy trades
When a Buy signal appears, don’t immediately enter blindly. First check whether the overall trend is also becoming bullish.
For example:
- Buy signal appears
- Green area starts developing
- Price begins making higher highs and higher lows
This combination can provide a stronger trading setup.
You can then place your Stop Loss below a recent swing low and target a reasonable profit level.

3. How to Use the Sell Signal
The orange Sell label indicates a possible bearish entry.
A simple method is:
Sell signal + Red trend area = Look for Sell trades
For example, in your chart, a Sell signal appears near 08:00. After this, the red trend area becomes visible and price starts falling.
You can consider entering a Sell after confirmation and place the Stop Loss above a recent swing high.

4. Understanding Peak Profit
The Peak Profit labels shown on the chart are useful for understanding how much a previous move potentially produced.
For example, your chart shows labels such as:
- Peak Profit 0.77%
- Peak Profit 0.65%
- Peak Profit 0.36%
- Peak Profit 0.19%
These indicate the potential profit captured during particular market movements according to the indicator’s calculation.
However, Peak Profit should not be treated as a guaranteed future profit. It is better used as a reference for understanding previous signals and market movements.

5. Best Way to Trade With This Indicator
A simple trading strategy can be:
BUY Setup
- Wait for a Buy signal.
- Check that the trend area is turning/staying green.
- Check whether price is making higher highs or higher lows.
- Enter after confirmation.
- Put Stop Loss below a recent swing low.
- Take profit at a predetermined target or when the trend starts weakening.
SELL Setup
- Wait for a Sell signal.
- Check that the trend area is turning/staying red.
- Check whether price is making lower highs or lower lows.
- Enter after confirmation.
- Put Stop Loss above a recent swing high.
- Take profit at a predetermined target or when the trend starts weakening.

6. Main Benefits of the Indicator
✅ Easy Trend Identification
The green and red areas allow you to quickly see whether the market is bullish or bearish.
✅ Simple Buy/Sell Signals
The Buy and Sell labels make the chart easier to read, especially for beginners.
✅ Helps Avoid Random Entries
Instead of entering trades simply because the price is moving, you can wait for the indicator and price action to agree.
✅ Useful for Trend Trading
The indicator can be particularly helpful when the market is making a clear upward or downward movement.
✅ Cleaner Chart Analysis
You don’t necessarily need many indicators covering the chart. This type of indicator combines trend visualization and signals into one display.
✅ Useful for Multiple Trading Styles
It can be used for short-term trading, intraday trading, and potentially longer-term analysis, depending on the timeframe and settings.
